Did you know that the giraffe is the tallest animal on the ground and can reach up to 19 feet in height? We had a very successful field trip to Lincoln Park Zoo. Along with many other schools our class was able to navigate through the zoo and see some very interesting animals.
After a long wait for our
bus we finally arrived back to Garvy just in time to go home and enjoy a three day weekend. I'd like to thank all of the chaperones for volunteering their time and energy. The kids and I really appreciate and feel lucky to have such supportive parents!
