Today was the first day we used the new Nook Color Tablets during reading group. The students were navigating raz-kids.com to read leveled books. It was amazing to watch them pick up the new gadgets and use them with little support. I'm excited to see continue to grow with the use of our new technology. Thank you Mrs. McGlade for providing our class with these tablets!
Do you have a tablet at home? Do still prefer reading paper books to your child over an e-book?

As long as Lynette enjoys reading, we don't mind using either method. She enjoys turning the page of a book just as much as swiping her finger across the tablet. Nooks are great! The children are very fortunate to have these in class!
Maggie likes our I-pad and Razz-kids. She also likes to hold a book in her hands and read it from front to the end. She is a reader! We are proud of her!
